Harold Batiste | Founder & Partner

Harold Batiste

FOUNDER & OWNER

Designer and owner Harold Batiste has been intrigued by fashion since about the age of 14. Always inspired by his father, Adam Batiste Sr. & his grandfather, Stanley Batiste, Sr. (two dashing dressers), his fondness for fashion grew; favoring clean cut, well-fitted suits.

Harold designed his first suit in 2006. This design would later be brought to life by an African tailor, Bah. He showcased this suit in July of 2008, wearing it on his own wedding day. This would be the first time something locked in his imagination came to life.

Shortly after, Harold’s tailor moved away, and married with his first child on the way, he pursued a career in the oil field to support his family, which would last 11 years.  Through this time, he continued to dream on paper, sketching and drawing designs of his own. Harold wore other brands, but always found a way to alter each piece to his liking. He made subtle changes and alterations to give each piece his unique touch, just the way his grandfather and his father did.

As Harold grew into his own, always choosing to push the limits of fashion, he began to develop a personal style that would be described as dapper & clean cut. With the desire to create and own his own company at the forefront, Harold finally went out on his own in 2019 and hasn't looked back.  Creating unparalleled looks for clients throughout the United States, Harold takes pride in seeing his work come to life in pieces that are distinctively Bespoke Batiste.

Amy Jones Kane | Managing Partner

Amy Jones Kane

MANAGING PARTNER

In 2023, Amy Kane joined Bespoke Batiste as an owner and partner.  Amy’s love of fine suits came naturally, as her grandfather taught her to tie his ties and help him to pick out his suit combinations at 7 years old.  It’s been a lifelong dream to have her own suiting company.

In 1996, Amy became one of the youngest sports anchors in the United States and quickly realized how boring women’s suits were for anyone who didn’t want basic black and blue. After leaving television news, Amy spent the next two decades in advertising and PR, constantly styling businessmen, politicians, and athletes, but always finding herself frustrated with how little individuality was afforded when buying off the rack.

Struggling to incorporate colors, fabrics and vibrant patterns with most things bought in stores for herself, Amy began having Harold Batiste start cutting custom suits for her soon after he opened his doors and the relationship was born.  A successful businesswoman and entrepreneur, Amy joined Harold when the duo realized their shared love of business and fabrics made them a formidable team.  With an ability to choose color and patterns to compliment that many wouldn’t think would not work, Amy loves nothing more than to create custom suits and tuxedos for clients that stand out and make clients feel confident in who they are, anytime they walk in a room.
